OK, I have used ACAD for last 23 years and, normally, I can find a solution to most issues with ACAD, right? I am an Autodesk Approved Instructor and have trained people on ACAD for the last ten years.
So, I would like to know if anyone else is having this problem with ACAD 2012 (vanilla version). I am tearing what is left of my hair (at 41 years old) out right now.
I am running an AMD Radeon 6300 M graphics card with 1GB onboard memory on my new Dell laptop.
I am running Win 7 with 64-bit processing.
The ribbon in ACAD 2012 is sluggish at best but most of the time I have to click on a tab, minimise the ACAD window, then maximise for that tab to be current (seems to be the only solution). Yet, go back to toolbars and all is good (old ways are the best ways). However, I train on ACAD constantly and also need to create video material using the ribbon interface.
And before ya say it, yes, I have installed every damn Hotfix ADSK have to offer at the moment.
If anyone else has a solution to this, please let me know! Or I just won't use ACAD 2012 until SP1 is available!
Thanks!
