    Default Revit - Signage Schedule

I have created a schedule in Revit for signage. I have use the room numbers and names as the only part of the schedule that is linked to revit, everything else I’ve entered manually (sign number, type, message, remarks). For some rooms, I need more than one sign. If I add a new line to my schedule and then give it the same number as an existing room, Revit gives me a “duplicate mark value” warning. I really don’t want to add a ton of unplaced rooms and warnings to the model. Is this a lost cause? Should I just do the schedule in excel and then import into revit through autocad? Any other suggestions?

    Thanks!

That is why we abandoned the idea of linking our signage to rooms and just use a specialty equipment schedule. When you add a new line on the room schedule your adding a new room, which adds non-existent rooms to your room finish schedule.
