Labeling Pipe Network Crossings in Sections

I've added the networks into the Sampling. They're plotted into the sections fine but after i add a label for the pipe description and invert, leave the drawing and come back, ALL pipe labels disappear. What gives? Where's the option to add a label for that pipe network in section view and have them stay?

I have had the same problem.

To stop it, I put all of my labels on a layer (my case Pipes - Labels) and lock it.

Locking it does not allow Civil 3D to delete the label, but will update to new or revised info in your labels.
