    Question Primitive sphere

    HI everybody,

    When adding a primitive (sphere) to a parametric part, we can see a relationship between the diameter of the circle and that of the profile:

    BdyD1=BdyD2 * 0.42 (BdyD2 = 4

    Note also that the diameter of the sphere is equal to 48.05064 and not to 48?

    What is the correct equation to get a perfect sphere with the correct diameter?

    Thank a lot for any help you could provide for me.

    Hi saidriad71,

    What program/version are you using? I'm not sure if this is the correct forum for this question. Post back your program and version (i.e. 2012 AutoCAD Architecture) and I'll move the post to a location that may help you find an answer to your question.

    Sorry I couldn't be of more help,

    OK, Looks like you've got the right forum. I haven't messed with parametric parts in a long time so I'm afraid I can't be much help. Hopefully someone else can help you. It's probably time for me to revisit parametric parts so if I get some free time this weekend I'll investigate your problem/issue.
