Exclamation .ned and .nwf - deleting files

    Hello all,

It seems that somewhere along the line I accidentally saved my navisworks file set as a .nwd, and continued working on that file. I now have a .nwd (containing all geometry) as the main file within the .nwf. I have many views, animations and different files attached to this, that I would like to keep. The main issue with this format is when I try to delete a file through the "find items" tab I cannot, the only thing I can delete is a "file" and that would erase everything. I would greatly appreciate if anyone know how to remedy this issue either convert back to a .nwf, or how to delete files from this existing .nwf with a .nwd within it. Thank you in advance. (I am using navisworks 2012)

I think you will want to get back into the .nwf file again. You can't remove geometry from an .nwd. You could export many of the viewpoints as an xml file and re-import them back into an archive of your .nwf. If none of that works, I would suggest just hiding the objects that you want deleted.
