    Default Automatic Connections ASD 2012

    Hi all.

I am having big headache trouble =/

I am trying to create a connection clip angle - beam/column flange... I click at the function, I select the column and the beam, I configure my connection... but when I click on apply and ok... it moves my column and modify my beam in a way that the connection stay in the beam and in the "air"...

what am I doing wrong? what should I do to the automatic connection works?

ahhh I am trying to make a clip angle - beam/column flange connection but this is happening with all automatic connections available, including column base.

    Second doubt....

I tried to create a "manual" connection... same style, clip angle - beam/column flange.

I´ve created the plate, bended it, put it on its place. so... I´ve click on the button "drill/bolt" to make the drills and place the bolts on the plate... I´ve configured the drills properties and clicked on the button "drill". and whereas I click, the bold appears parallelal to the plate, not crossing it. What should I do?

    thanks for all

Default Re: Automatic Connections ASD 2012

I noted that this happens when I import the structure from revit structure 2012.
first of all when I import, I needed to map some of the profiles that havent beem mapped automatically. and I noted that the scale of the structure was wrong, so I use the tool scale from autocad to solve this.

when I draw the structure in the ASD, the connections works fine =/

is this have anything with my problem with the connections and drill/bolts?
