Default Disappearing Excel schedules when printing to PDF

I use Excel spreadsheets to input my equipment schedules for my CAD drawings. Every once in awhile when I print to a PDF, the Excel portions of the document do not show up. The "print to PDF" dialog box says "attempting to cancel." What's going on here and how can I fix it?

I had the same issues and the resolution was to close autocad program and close all adobe program(s). then reboot. That always works for me.

    I think it's a memory issue.

Can you plot to DWF, and then print the DWF to PDF? that's generally a working fallback when Acad decides it can't handle a particular drawing plotting to PDF. You could also try plotting to a Postscript file, and converting that to DWF.

However.... If you are using OLE to include the spreadsheet data, may I suggest that you change to using Acad native entities? If you do not need the table to be live/active you can simply Paste Special and use a real autocad table.

If you need the spreadsheet data to be live because it changes constantly, then explore data linking as the better option. OLE sometimes works, sometimes doesn't, and is never fully reliable (as you are noticing...
