Default plumbing fittings have turned gray

All of my plumbing fittings have changed to gray from black.
I didn't change any settings, I didn't change anything in the VG settings...
Does anyone know how to fix this?

You didn't accidentally change the layer that they were all on to grey?

Or is this maybe a phasing thing?

VG Settings means Visibility/Graphics, which means the poster is using Revit MEP, not AutoCAD MEP. This thread needs to be moved.

I have moved the thread from the AMEP General forum to the Revit MEP - General forum.

That's what confused me (the VG).
Thanks for moving it to the Revit zone, that's a whole different world for dealing w/ Grey'ed out fixtures.

I would then ask if there is a filter in place that is grabbing the fittings.
OR if somehow the fittings were changed to be "existing" phase.

As of this morning, all of my fittings are white. They should be colored by system, but the fitting properties are reporting "Undefined" as both the system classification and the system type. No matter what I do, the fittings won't pick up on the system of the pipe connected to either end.

I'm fairly certain that this wasn't the case yesterday, and 100% certain everything was fine the day before.

So far I'm stumped, but I'm going to continue to poke at my model in hopes of learning what is going on here.

    Edit:
For the record, I have no active filters and I am getting the same results whether it's an OTB fitting or a custom built one.

It's probably 1 connection somewhere in your model that has the wrong parameter information and your pipe is connected to it. Otherwise I have no idea why it would suddenly change. I hope this isn't a bug...

Plausible theory.....but in this case there is no equipment or fixtures. The interactions are strictly between pipes and fittings.

Even starting a new project from my template produces the same results. Projects started earlier in the week using my template are fine. All signs currently point to something I caused while updating the template.

I just started a new project without using a template and got the same results, however, a new project using my Revit 2011 template behaves correctly. So far this isn't making much sense.

I cannot think of any setting or parameter that would make pipe fittings ignore the system. That is odd, and you say your 2011 template works fine. Hmmm. defiantly a head scratcher. I wonder if this has anything to do with an external file, like a lookup table or something of the sorts.
