Autodesk Revit Architecture 2012 Update 2 is now available

I am pleased to announce the release of Web Update 2 for Autodesk Revit Architecture 2012, which is available via Live Update in the product or on Autodesk.com at http://www.autodesk.com/revitarchitecture-download

The update can be applied to all languages of Autodesk Revit Architecture 2012. We are still in the process of updating the various download pages for each language, but you can download the update from the English page in the meantime.

There is now also a hotfix, seems to have stabilised our Revit very well. It's described like this:

Hotfix – Autodesk Revit 2012 – Improves stability when working with large datasets (64-bit only)

This hotfix improves product stability when working with large datasets.

Make sure that Update Release 2 has been applied prior to adding the hotfix. Verify that the build number of Revit 2012 is 20110916_2132.

NOTE: This hotfix applies to the 64-Bit release of Autodesk Revit 2012 only.

I am a college student. With my student account I downloaded Revit Architecture 2012 for my class. How would the updates apply to me if at all?

I think you'll find that the student version you have is specific to you. As for updates, have you tried installing any?
