Default Revit MEP 2011 to 2012

We had an arch go from 2011 to 2012. We upgrade our MEP items and now the model is very slow at responding to anything. I have gone in and purged all items and removed and re-linked the architectural and structural but the model is still responding slowly to all changes. Has anyone else come across this problem and if so how did you solve it.

    Thank you

I'm going to move this from the BIM Management forum to the Revit MEP forum, as I believe it will be better served here.

    Thanks.

    I have seen this behavior.
Did you "sanitize" the linked files?
I went into the RVT links and turned off worksets 1 by 1. I eventually narrowed it down.
I found the problem in my situation to be a SKP file on a workset.
Nobody really knows why your machine is having the problems your having. Trying to help others with performance based issues can be a number of different issues.

Curious, did you happen to AUDIT your 2011 files before you upgraded them?
