AutoCAD LT 2012 update

I just updated to LT2012 and am having problems with production so to get something done I would go back and launch LT2004 to find that 2012 settings have taken place. Such As I have no shortcut commands I have to spell out every command. it only wants to select a .stb file when plotting, although I set that I want to print with .ctb file I only have the selection of .stb even after I path it to look in the folder with .ctb files. This seems to only be a couple of transitional problems that will be occurring...any help please?

whether to use stb or ctb for plotting is embedded in the drawing, and typically based on the dwt file used to start the drawing.

to change from one to the other,type CONVERTPSTYLES at the command line.

What are your LT 2012 issues?
Those need to be solved first so that you do not need to go back to the LT 2004 version.
And it is likely that you have a bad install of the LT 2012 if it did something to the LT 2004 installation. That should not happen.
