Panel wont disconnect from itself

Electrical panel has somehow connected to itself and will not disconnect from itself. Trying to select another panel transfers one of the circuits from this panel to the chosen panel but not the full load.

See Panel: 2EM-2 in the properties box. Its shown connected to itself instead of the panel i am selecting (EMDP-1)

Which version of Revit are you using? I have tried to recreate this in 2013 and can't do it. Do you have to power connectors on the panel?

You could try right clicking the circuit connector and selecting "Remove From Circuit". This should delete the circuit that the panel is on and you can create a new one choosing the correct end panel for it to connect to. I'm assuming you have already tried doing this from the Edit Circuits tab, but, mechanically at least, right clicking the connector can get it removed from a system when using the ribbon menu doesn't - especially if there are multiple connectors and systems associated with the item.
