is the current annotation scale in that drawing set to a value that is contained within the hatch? And as a follow up, you are not xrefing an imperial drawing into a metric one or the other way around?
Yeah i've checked the annotation scales in both drawings and the scales applied to the hatch. Both drawings were started from the same metric template.
I've got 3 scales i want to show the hatch at. The hatch shows up for all 3 scales if I only apply one scale to the hatch but as soon as I apply a second scale, the object disappears when reloaded in the xref.
I have text, blocks and dims in the same drawing with 3 scales applied and they show up fine when referenced.
I prefer annoallvisible=0 but even when it's set to 1, it doesn't work.
hpannotative is also set to 1.
what about the HPMAXLINES system variable? perhaps the hatch becomes too dense to be displayed at the varying scales. mine is set to 10000000
