Default Masking region not working in nested door family

    Hi guys,
I decided to use nested families in my door family to increase performance.
I seems that masking regions nested inside a family lose their hiding ability.
masking region inside a main family works but if that family is nested inside another masking regions fails.

I need to nest the door panel family so I can make it rotate with the swing angle.

    Any help?

    Regards,
    Milos

Default Re: Masking region not working in nested door family

Ok I figured it out. Here is a solution if anyone else has this poblem in the future:

Masking region was on ground (Ref level) and when used as a nested family it would appear as transparent. As soon as I created a new level and assigned nested family to that new level above ground it worked. Since masking region is in plan only it makes no difference how far new level is off the ground as long as it is below cut plane in project.

    Milos
