Summary: enhanced import of Max, Maya and other common formats

Description: when importing 3D objects from other products or online libraries, (for example cars, trees, furniture, toilets) there is a huge problem with these objects being over-complex and their appearance in Revit is compromised.
the import tool should have additional options to reduce the number of polygons in a complex model while retaining the quality and appearance;
also the tessellation from a NURBS model creates so many triangles in the Revit family that is becomes ugly and unprintable in most cases -- the only solution at present is to manually trace the outline in plan and elevations in the family editor and then hide the imported model from 2D views -- this process is unworkable for most users and very time-consuming, an option to hide the triangles by default and just show major 'contours' in the 3D model would be ideal;
there is a great need for a simple, painless process to importing to Revit successfully. it would also have implications for users working with linked or imported data from other CAD software.
