Default More control on formatting the schedule and use of different colors of text...

Summary: I Wish I could have more control on formatting the schedules.

Description: It would be nice to control the way schedules are displayed on the sheets. Like set the totals to bold and black while subtotals would be grey and formatting headers too !

Also I would love to draw only the horizontal lines of the schedule grids to have e more graphic and clean look on sheets.

    We love beautiful documentation !

Thumbs up Re: More control on formatting the schedule and use of different colors of text...

Revit has some basic formatting options now, but they are really lacking in function — like comparing Word with Wordpad, the refinement is not there at all. Along with enhanced formatting options, it should have an option for Schedule styles, so you can create a consistent look to your drawings over and over without redoing the formatting for each an every schedule in every project. (The only work around to not having styles is duplicating a multicategory schedule and replacing all of the fields, but that only works sometimes, few users would be able to remember to do it, and you can't then apply it to other types or imported schedules).
