Default Revit 7.0 French & UK Subscription Libraries

In case you didn't notice we have added a few new libraries to the web library at http://revit.autodesk.com/library.asp

The Revit 7.0 French Subscription Library and the Revit 7.0 UK Subscription Library are now available.

    Super,
Il ne manque que Revit 7 français
Il ne sera disponible que mi-février.
Pourquoi un delai aussi long pour obtenir les versions localisées ?

    Super,
so, just Revit 7 French is missing.
It will be available only mid-February.
Why such a long time to obtain the localised versions?

Just one small continuing irritation though. All Revit windows continue to cut the wall in such a way that the Internal structural wall is set back by depth of plaster. In normal timber frame or blockwork the internal structure would line with the external brick.
Internal and external structural setting out dimensions, except in Scotland, are usually both the same.

Actually, some of the items in the UK and French libraries I would like on the US Library. Specifically, the glass elevator and very cool door hardware. Is there any specific reason that these were included in these libraries or is just that Europeans get to do cool design and we don't.

They were created by some of the local content people in their respective countries and it wouldn't right if I stole... I mean borrowed them for the US library before even posting them to their own respective libraries. You can use them for the US, but I have not reviewed any of them to be adapted for the US market. Plus I don't speak French...

But don't let that limit you from using them if you drop them into an imperial project the dimensions will be in feet and inches. They just may need some tweaking for sizes. For the French content the built in parameters will be English but all the user created parameters will still be in French. Good luck figuring out the materials names without knowing French.

I will forward your issue to the UK content people for review.
