I've got an IFC from an architect using ArchiCAD, and can open and view it in Navisworks and BIMsight without any problems, and after waiting for about an hour for it to import into Revit using the Graphisoft ArchiCAD Connection add-in I can see the building in a 3D view, I can schedule the rooms out etc, but I just can't see the building on plan.

I've tried the usual v/g etc, but suspect it's to do with the setting out of the building.

If I select a column in BIMsight it's Origin.X = 420401520mm (about 420km) and it's Origin.Y = 285453730mm (about 285km). In Revit the Project Base Point has a N/S of -193245mm and E/W of -1255796mm. The Survey Point is set to 0,0.

I don't know the current limitations on model dimensions for Revit 2012 but I'm thinking IFC is outside of the limit.

Has anyone else encountered this issue? If so have you solved it (and how!)? Is it likely to be down to the coordinate system or something else entirely? Any help much appreciated...
