Default ZVI with Subtended Vertical Angles??

    Hi,

Does anyone know if Civil 3D 2104 can generate zones of visibility using Subtended Vertical Angles?

The company I work for are using LSS to produce these reports and I'm sure Civil or Map could produce the same reports but I cannot find any tutorials on the web. ESRI GIS software can produce ZVI's really well but struggles with the Subtended vertical and Horizontal angles which results in loss of accuracy.

I have no idea how such a report would look. I am also a little thick in the head as I have no idea what you are talking about.

Would you mind providing a sample of what you are trying to achieve and/or explain it a bit more?

Thanks for the reply. I have attached a document explaining the theory (ignore references to LSS though) which I would like to know if Civils 3D or even Map can produce.

Maybe generate a QuickProfile w/o vertical exageration, and draw in the lines from target zone to viewer?
