I am somewhat new to the vault (2012 Professional) and I am trying to understand the relationship between what the engineers are seeing in the vault and how those drawings are stored on the server in the file store. I understand the file structure on their local machine when they are working with files in the vault, but it seems somewhat cryptic in how those files are stored on the server.

I have been looking through the schema of the SQL tables to see if there is a mapping but without a solid foundation on how the vault names and stores the files I dont have a good starting point to start looking. At this point I am just blindly searching and hoping to find a clue.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
