Default NOOB question: Can I copy an array?

Can I copy an array so that the copy is also an array? The Help menu seems to suggest this is possible by having a page describing how to do it entitled "Copying an Array":

    http://wikihelp.autodesk.com/Revit/e...6-6F4F450725FE

I followed the Help instructions (bonus question below). The resulting copy is not an array but just a bunch more of the arrayed objects in a different place with no relationship to one another. Is this correct? If not, is what I did wrong obvious?

Bonus question: I find it difficult to definitively select all array group members. Am I missing a tool to easily select all members of an array?

Thanks in advance for the hand holding.

I think I've answered my bonus question: I selected one item in the array, right clicked and selected "select all instances > visible in view", and selected all of the array members.

Well, I'm back for posterity. The full answer is to select all instances visible in view, then also select the little number telling how many are in the array, before copying all of them. The resulting copy is a separate array that can be adjusted without affecting the original array.
