    Default Elements Changing After Syncing

I am working on a model that has a few people syncing their local files up to central throughout the day. Lately, we have been having issues of elements changing after syncing, such as piping and ductwork that was moved going back to its original location and thus disconnecting itself, pieces of equipment that have been moved, flipped, or rotated going back to their original position and disconnecting themselves from ductwork and piping, etc.

Any solutions to this? All we have thought of is creating new objects instead of moving old ones, but it's a very cumbersome process.

    Thanks!

I feel your pain on this.

One way we cut down on this issue is we set up a procedure to sync:

Save the file locally (keeps your changes from getting over-written)
Reload latest (this gets all the changes that have already been updated in the central file)
    Sync to Central
    Save locally

We still get things that jump off of systems and disconnect, but not nearly as much.
Keep me posted if you find anything else that helps!
    Good luck!
