If you are talking conduit and cable tray you can use the Service Type parameter to differentiate between runs. Use the ones listed and/or type in what you need. Add filters with Service Type argument to control visibility.
I would agree that conduit and cable tray should have "Systems" similar to piping and ductwork as introduced in the 2012 version.

Agreed, cable tray and conduit should definitely have systems. Could be complicated given that a single piece of tray could be carrying any number of systems, but necessary all the same.
