I'm relatively new to Civils 3D - I've been told it is possible to input SWS & FWS files from microdrainage into Civil 3D but have not been able to find where this option can be found. I would appreciate your help.

HI they are part of the UKIE country pack and the import / Export function is on the toolbox tab of the toolspace.
Look under UK and ireland reports and it should be there.

Hi, I am getting an error trying to import an SWS file into Civil3d (MDImportFile). Is there a fix for this (see screen shot). Selecting 'continue' doesn't resolve the problem. Both the 64bit and 32bit options produce the same error. Thanks.

your sreen capture does not reveal the full extent of the error message.
Please copy and paste the entire error into another post.

I appears the first error points to a .NET issue, is your .Net current?
Try download and reinstall the country kit from the insstructions here:
