    Default Default Beam Annotation Placement

Can anyone tell me where or how you change the default location of where beam annotations are placed? When you go into the Beam Annotation dialogue box and click on the Settings box you have the opportunity to either use the default Vertical Offset or specify your own. The default is 3/8" - where do you change that?

    Thanks,

In the BEAM ANNOTATIONS dialog box click the SETTINGS... button. You can then specifiy the offset distance you want. Just keep in mind that this does NOT apply to manually placing beam tags (unless there's some other option I haven't seen).
