Default Using elevation in family type formula

So I have a face hosted ceiling speaker, and noticed that whenever I place it on a ceiling there's a greyed out "Host" and "Elevation" constraints that tell my what ceiling I hosted the speaker to and at what height.

Is it possible to use this elevation value in a family parameter formula?

The elevation parameter is a system parameter that can't be accessed. That is unless you have some API programming skills, in which case I believe you can create a secondary parameter that reads from the system parameter.
