Default Drain w/ P-trap Annotation Per View

Is there a way to have our floor drain annotation look differnt per view? Basically we are using a floor drain that has a p-trap already with it to save some time when laying out tons of floor drains. So on a foundation plan we have the waste pipe connected to it, and it shows the p-trap symbol like it should. But when we go to the first floor, it still shows that p-trap symbol. What we would like it to show is just a circle to represent the drain itself. Is there a way to somehow make that happen?

Like move the different annotations to different planes in the family? I hope that makes sense, its kinda hard to explain over the internet. Any help would be great, thanks.

Default Re: Drain w/ P-trap Annotation Per View

You can put the p-trap linework on a different subcategory, then turn that subcategory off on your first floor plans. To add a subcategory you need to go to Object Styles on the Manage tab. Then in the properties for the P-trap portion change the subcategory to the newly created one.
