Default Can not access network drive from Design Center

    Hi all,
I am using AutoCAD 2011. I cannot access network drives in Design Center from AutoCAD. It doesn't even show up in the tree view. The moment navigate to the network in tree view it says 'Not connected to network'. But surprisingly the same network location is accessible from Window explorer through 'My Network Places'. What could be the problem? . . . Thanks for the help.

This could be down to how your network is set up.
If it is set up using UNC pathnames then certain "legacy" areas of cad wont work.

If your folders in open don't have a drive letter then you are on a UNC system.
If you are then you will either need to change the way you work or map drives.

    Regards
