    Default Stretch Equally 2 sides

Heres a block I started, I want it to stretch equally both way, placing the nails 2 1/16" apart and maintaining a nail at the center point, I tried just placing 3 nails in the center and arraying, but I'm missing something

Hmmm…I tried several ways to get this to work like you requested. This way seems to do the trick (see attached.) Take a look at how I constructed it and come back if you have questions.

I like it! It's the way I tried to build it, but I must have had wrong selection sets or a wrong sequence somewhere, so I scrapped it after several tries, VERY nice, 1 question

I actually want the nails to be 2 1/16" apart, I tried to adjust the rows to this factor but I get unexpected results, any ideas? what's the trick?

    Thanks very much

Column Offset for the Array needs to be 2-1/16" for the spacing.
Also - The posted block has the fastener shape copied over itself. This must be done since an entity can only be tied to one Array Action.
One fastener for the Array on the left and one fastener for the Array on the right. Tricky

Sorry about that. I realized after posting that I used the wrong dimension. You can change it by going into the block editor, highlighting an array action, and then going to properties and modifying the column offset to the correct dimension. Remember to repeat it for both array actions.

hmmm, I changed the value for the rows to 2 1/16" and It does not work, I think the problem is related to the the stretch action being shorter, but can't figure it out just yet, what do you think?

When changed here there was no problem with the Array spacing working as intended.
Post your changed block - all else is conjecture
