    Default Surface Comparison Volumes

I was wondering if there was a way to put a table on my drawing showing the total cut and fill for the volume surface I've created? Then as I make adjustments to either surface, the table would update automatically.

you can used the new volume dashboard extension. If you dont have it ask your cad manager if he can download it from the subscription website.

Thanks for the info. It was very helpful. Now I have another question. Has anyone created a surface style for volume where you show cut/fill contours in different colors? Trying to see how to create a style, but can't get it figured out. Thanks!

Yes, I have a tutorial for doing just that on my webpage.

    The short answer...

Go to Surface Style turn ON th USER contours
    Select the Surface
    Got to surface Properties
go to Summay tab to find out what the total elevation rang is between Min and Max
    Go to Analyze Tab
Select Elevation as the Type of analysis
    Enter N+1 number of elevations
Hit the Arrow to perform the analysis
Go down below and Set the elevation ranges and colors you want to describe them.
    Hit Apply
    Hit OK
