Panel Schedules and Circuit Description

This may be impossible but I really would like to pick the brains of this forum to see if this is possible. What I want is to have some control over what gets filled into my panel schedule for the circuit description. I am fine with the standard for like receptacles where it fills in "receptacle, Room Name". What I dont like is simply "Motor". Lets say this motor has been scheduled in my mechanical schedule as "CU-1". I would like my schedule to read "CU-1", not "Motor".

My first thought was creating a type parameter called "Panel Schedule Circuit Description". In this if I wanted something other than the standard then using my example above I would type in "CU-1". I tried this but cant get this parameter to show up in the options when editing my panel schedule.

Is there a way to make this work?

Adding a parameter to the family won't work because it does not pull it from the family, it pulls it from the Circuit. In this situation, I would create a Circuit Schedule, sorted by Load Name and filtered by Load Classification: Motor. You can then see all the motor circuits in the project and you can go through and name them easier. Still manual labor, though.

Just go through and change it when you size the motor circuit. You are going to beat yourself over the head trying to automate it, and it probably won't work very well anyway.
