    166 Blocks audited

Total errors found 1186 fixed 1186

    ---------------------------------------------------------
The list above is shortened but I tried to show each grouping that still showed up in the F2 CAD command window.
Above is almost a daily occurence in our companies dwgs. When CAD starts acting sluggish or squirelly and sometimes crashes to desktop I type audit and always get a slew of errors, the rest of the day that file will be clean, but two days later it may happen again. Does anyone have any thoughts on where these errors are coming from and what I might need to do to fix it? Personal best yesterday i have a large file with over 10,000 errors found and fixed.

    Additional information.
I've heard that Landdesktop blocks can be nasty, I think our blocks are still pulled from the LDT folders we have..100s of blocks created in landdesktop 3,7 and 8.

This is not necessarily a fix of any sort, but this was a topic discussed at a training session we're having this week at my office. Drawing errors are just a way of life when it comes to using vertical products, especially C3D. The rep from our reseller suggests we get into a routine of running an AUDIT a few times a day when working in the same file.

No, for something that may be useful. You guys need to dump your Land Desktop elements left over in your workflow. I've hear lots and lots of stories where leftovers cause all types of problems.

You should not need to audit any file multiple times each day.

Yes you should eliminate your old LDD blocks, and replace them with newly created ones.
Even IF they are only opened, audited and then wblocked to new file to update the autocad version/entities.

Well we're getting some rain so maybe I'll stick around and start running thru our LDD blocks and re writing them thru C3D, thanks for the info.
