This is driving me crazy! When I preview the plot it shows up, but when it creates the pdf, it's not there!
Thanks

Judging by the similar threads feature (at the bottom of this page), it seems others have had that problem, but, without an easily solution. Looks like one of them deleted the viewport and created a new one and it worked, another ended up copying the entities to a new drawing and it worked. But, looks like no suggestions for what caused a problem in the initial files.

It happens randomly here -- no real rationale, sometimes just grabbing a different machine (the same pc specs, same drawing file, same plotter/driver, same pc3) works. sometimes changing printers works, Heck, sometimes changing _days_ works.

Anybody have experiences like this, but with PUBLISH? I have a set of drawings created with a .pc3 that isn't a standard. However, most users are able to print the set to .pdf by selecting PUBLISH and using the Publish To feature set for PDF. I don't plot very often, and haven't plotted a set in years. I thought, that no matter what the page setup had for the default .PC3 file, the publish command overwrote the setup, and that is also what some of the users said.
I noticed that the .PC3 that is set in these files, is set for a modified DWGtoPDF.PC3. This is not a default Autocad DWGtoPDF.PC3, rather an altered one. I also noticed it had no printer associated to it, although it does state the printer selected is PDF before you enter the plotting or publishing menus...
Should the printer be PDF or a PDF print driver?
