    Default Parametric Array Help: Louver

Can someone help define why it is that I can't get the arrayed louver blade in my model to attach properly?

Each time I widen/shorten my Louver Opening, the constraints are not satisfied...and neither am I...

Hey. You've almost got it, but you're just missing one step. Instead of locking the louver edges to the opening, you need to lock the Opening Width parameter of the louver blade family to the Opening Width parameter in your main file. If you select one of the louvers, edit group, then click the button next to the Opening Width parameter in the Properties dialog, you can set it to be equal to the Opening Width parameter in your main file. See the attached image. Click OK and finish the group. The first time you flex the model by changing the Opening Width, you'll get an error. Remove the constraint (that's your original locked reference), and everything should work properly.
