GeoDistance tool

I have a base drawing with an assigned coord system (Lat Long NAD 83). Entered 2 points in Lat and Long and tried to use th Geo Distance tool for mean bearing and distance. The results were 0's for both bearing and distance. Any clues, am I not setting up the base drawing correctly?

What version? What are your units set at?

Version CD3 2010, the units for the AutoCAD drawing environment are feet. I am away from the office where that drawing is, but I believe when I setup the coordinate system I used feet also. I will check back with more info.

Switch back to the Civil3D workspace and use the tools on the Inquiry tab.
"_AeccCgList" Line & Arc Infomation for one.
Civil3D has better tools for doing this type of work.

Thanks J. The pallette is more robust in that workspace.
