Default Aligned levels don't match elevation

I'm drawing a blank on this one... We have an architect's model linked in, have acquired the coordinates, transferred over their project settings and level types but can't figure out why the levels don't match. I've tried changing the level type from project to shared and back again without any luck. What am I overlooking??

try looking in the arch's file, in an elevation, properties on a level, and see if they've changed it to shared in stead of project. you may have to set yours to match what they've done. it's some way of moving the project after it's drawn, like when you get real elevations from civil.
    just something to check...

Found it... they modified the PROJECT BASE POINT elevation. Once I changed ours to match theirs, the level elevations matched like they should.

You can just acquire shared coordinates from the link and then set your elevation base to 'shared' instead of 'project'

Whether or not the architect sets up a shared coordinate or not, I consider this to be standard setup procedure.

We had acquired the coordinates - we do that as standard practice on all of our jobs. We also changes from SHARED to PROJECT and back multiple times, closed Revit etc... nothing worked. Until I changed the project base point elevation.

Did you move it clipped or unclipped?
