    Default Spooler subsytem app error

    Hi,

I hope this is the right place to place this question. A drawing I am working on in ACAD 2012 started showing a message that says 'subsytem app has encountered an app and needs to close'. This came up when we tried to plot. It would then erase the plotter/printer choices. If we shut down ACAD and re-open, the plotter choices would be back. We re-booted machine and plotter. Same issue. It will print other drawings, so it's clearly this file.
When we clicked 'to see what data this error report contains click here' - it says szappname spool sz.exe, szappver:5.1.2600.5512, szmodname:tds400s.dll and a few other ones..............

I thought to try printing a pdf and then plot the pdf, but it only printed half a sheet (incomplete plot).

    Any help would be great!
    Thanks!
    Stephanie

What version of AutoCAD? Operating system? Only a problem with this one drawing?

    HI,
Yes, Autocad 2012. The operating system is Windows XP I believe. We were able to print other drawings fine. We are plotting to an inhouse Oce 400 I believe.
    thanks!
