    Question Concrete Encased Steel Beams

Hi, has anyone had any experience using concrete encased steel beam familes? I have built a family based on an OOTB steel UB structral framing member. Family works fine, problem is the concrete casing won't join to surrounding concrete in the model (see attached image & family).

I have set material type to concrete in the family & added instance parameter for concrete material to the encasement. All concrete in the model is the same materail assignment.

Is this just an issue because I built the family based on a steel member & not a concrete one?

    Cheers
