    Default Corrupt, linked architectural models

Here's a perplexing issue.... One user keeps getting a message about models being corrupted BUT it's ONLY WITH LINKED IN ARCHITECTURAL models. Restarting his computer has temporarily fixed it but it happens again the same day. We've tried deleting the backup and temp folders without any luck. The problem keeps happening. It does NOT happen if another user logs into the same computer. Our IT department is suggesting a complete Windows profile reset which affects EVERY. SINGLE. PROGRAM. on his computer and everything will need to be set up the way he had it before. Does anyone know why this would happen? Or what file(s) could be replaced with files from a known GOOD Windows profile? I'd hate for this particular user to have to go through this.

    Thanks.

Try linking in an older (or newer) version of the architectural model from a different machine.

Other option - does this user have an add-in installed (such as Elum Tools) that others don't? When we encountered a similar issue, the problem was that in initial releases of new Revit versions, the write permissions for that add in weren't properly coded, resulting in corrupted Project Information every time. For us, the issue arose when the remote architectural team updated our detached MEPT model on their server. If this user does have a unique add-in, after replacing the architectural link, try uninstalling the add-in.

The only time I have seen this happen with only 1 user, was because their hard drive was dangerously low (in the red) on space. Once we cleared up some GB they were able to open the model and work.
