auto positioning

Hi, I'm using ASD 2012, sp3, than I do autopositioning, it hangs and do nothing. I tried to select just some members and than do the positioning. It works on some elements, but it does not on others. Don't know the reason. I had to end process of acad.exe using task manager about 50 times today.
Any suggestions?

Hi,
I've got similar problem (in steel module). My solution was:
1) In "model" tab select all profiles, plates (and its subparts), user object and bolts and then remove all assigned positions.
2) Go to "positions" tab and check if you've got left any parts. If so, you have to delete them. That abandoned parts hangs ASD during auto positioning.
3) Now you should be able to do autopositioning.
