Point/Label Style question.

I'm just starting the switch to C3D 2010 from LDT 2009. I have the Point/Label Style set for a text of L60, which I have set in the Text Style Manager as a height of 1.8. The problem I'm having is I want the text height to remain at 1.8, but when I move from model to paper space the text height seems to be annotative. How can I make the text height remain constant no matter what scale I'm at in paper space?

You really can not do this. From the help file:

Text Height

Specifies the plotted height for text. Enter a positive value greater than zero.

In short it doesn't matter what your text style text height setting is. When you go to paperspace the text size is going to change to whatever heigth you have set in the label style.
So technically it IS remaining constant, just not the way you want it to.

How big do you want that text to plot is the real question (size) you need to enter in your label style(s)

Also have you set the both the drawing scale and the viewport scale correctly?

Yes, both scales are correct. I'm just trying to find an easy way to drag the point text so it is legible. Once I move it in model space so there are no overlaps then go to the viewport in paper space the text height is different and I once again have overlaps.

Do your moving through the viewport using VPMAX and not just working through the viewport.
