Default Errors displayed as three question marks - Can I change this?

I have been setting up a structure table that includes information about inlets, manholes, frame & grate types and RCP Aprons (flared end sections). want to have RCP Aprons included in the table and they, but of course they have no frame or grate or anything other than an invert elevation, so Civil 3D displays 3 question marks whenever there is a field that has no value. Is there any way to change the way the errors are displayed so that it is not displaying question marks? I.e. instead of a question mark it displays a dash or "N/A" or nothing at all would be fine with me.

If it can't be done, that's fine, I just want to put an end to my search to determine whether or not it is possible.

Attached is a PDF of my table my table layout.

    Thanks!

    Scott

Add a 'frame' size to that structure in the parts catalog of N/A
