    Lightbulb split a wall

I have an external wall in my Revit model which part of it is to be existing, part to be a new wall. Same make up, size, height extra. How every I wish now to split this wall in two. As when I am place rebars along it. I don't want them placed in the existing section. I do not want to redraw the wall and have a join, as there are numerous components/ doors extra attached to this wall.

Any ideas on how to cut the wall into two separate walls.

Create two walls, 1 in the Existing Phase and 1 in New Construction Phase.

If you have the wall modeled already, I'd use the split tool to create 2 walls, place one on the existing phase and the other on the new construction phase.
