    Question corrupt file problems and need help!!!! fast.

    hello,

    My name is Travis and i am a architectural student in Chicago Illinois. i have a mid term presentation due on Thursday and i can't open my file and is receiving the following error megs when i try to open my file. "Data in file North side cycle center3.0037.rvt is corrupt and needs to be manually recovered. 'Please contact Autodesk Support." can anyone pass this on to someone that could help or anyone know what i can do.

    A bit late but are you by any chance upgrading to a newer version of Revit?

    Try clicking on OPEN and check the AUDIT option and select your file, it might be enough to fix it.

    If you have some circular references in your project and try to upgrade the file with a higher Revit version it will encounter this error.
    Easy solution is don't upgrade.

    If you, however, are not upgrading and getting this error you my friend are stuffed (in my experience).

    Look for a backup Rvt file, in the journal sub folder of Revit, on your hard dri
    ve.

    It looks like he is opening a backup file, see the 0037.
