    Question Converting blocks question

Is it an acceptable method to open, copy and paste blocks created in Land Desktop 8 into a new C3D drawing and wblock it to create a new block that is C3D friendly?

    Or

Should I just recreate the block, attributes in C3D.

    OR

Is it enough that I am opening the file with C3D and writing a new block with C3D that I can forgo the copy/paste?

I would suggest that you import them through Design center, and then wblock them out, it will be fastest.
