Default Wall has line in door cut?

I have a wall type - metal stud with gyp - metal stud layer has no hatch pattern associated with it cut or not. Location line is Wall Centerline but moving that did not change a thing.
I put a door in it and there is a line showing up in the middle of the door in sections.
I have checked the door family and it is not in there.
Here I show two doors in sections.
I have selected the wall on the right so that you can see the line I mean. It highlights when I select the wall. I have put a red line to each of the lines I mean here in this jpg.
    SO, WTH????
    Any ideas?wall line.jpg

Is your door not creating a full opening? What's it look like in 3D?

Yes - and that line shows up in a 3D view. I oriented a 3D to my section and highlighted the wall.
    Next guess?????

I am not seeing the line for the other side of your stop in the section views. This makes me think that the extrusion at the jamb is not flexing properly and the thick line actually is the truncated stop.

Nope - nice try. I did go back to check but I did not model the stop - my frame is a rectangle and the stop displays in line work in both plan and sections.

OH Goody - we have a puzzle here.

Your Opening Cut is set to Visible, although that doesn't seem to be the culprit.

Here is the next clue - doesn't matter what type of wall this is plance in - there is a line.
SO - it is in the door family.
