The problem with 3rd person is that I cant enter any rooms. Other than Hiding all the doors in the view, is it possible to make an object non succeptible to the collision function?
Sounds like a wishlist item.

It's on my wishlist too. You might try setting up some procedural animation which moves, hides, or otherwise removes the offending obstacles while the camera is within a certain radius.
Not a fix, but what I do is use the Ctl-D right at the door, then push thru the door, then Ctl-D again which turns the collision, gravity back on. When you push thru, since no gravity is on, you stay at the floor level. It is pretty easy that way.
