Lighting fixtures quanity of a Group

hello all,

Does anyone know of a way to capture quanities of lights when you want to associate to a switch and get that quanity to show on a lighting tag.


Ok. I did some more investigation and on the switch system I want to show on the tag "number of fixtures" is there any way to get that parameter to be in a tag

Edit the tag family and add a label associated with the parameter.

yea where do you find the parameter when it is not there I think this is hard built and may need to make a project parameter of some kind

switch system is not intended to be used for this. It is used for rendering. If I'm not mistaken you are not going to be able to do what you are trying. We put a tag with a letter to show switching (type comment)

i thought the light group was used for rendering not switch system, any way i guress i am going to have to utlize the comment to get my results thanks all
