    Default subscription renewal

The recession has hit my segment of the industry particularly hard and I was unable to renew my autodesk subscription in 2011 which turned out to be my worst of 22 years in business. I have now been reminded that the privilege to renew my subscription will be revoked soon, after which if I wish to purchase the software I will have to pay the full $5,000+ price. Has anyone found a way to extend our renewal privilege until the economy improves?

For a while 2009-2010, Autodesk was offering free access to Revit for unemployed architects. I think that program has expired.
