    Default custom truss

I am new to creating content, until now the stock content worked pretty well for the little bit of 3D I designed in. Now I am working on a post modern design that requires 12’ high parallel chord trusses made from steel I beams. I don't really know how to go about creating this. Any help would be appreciated.

are they different or same lengths? You could always make one up using structural members for each part, assembling and then blocking and copying (or arraying) or you could do extra work and create a new structural style that does it in one. for eg. a structural member can have various componants say the same i beam set top and bottom under the design rules tab and then under the display properties tab add the strut and brace parts as blocks set to repeat as required. This gives you flexibility for later use and can adapt to different spans.
